We mourn the death of Berry Lipman

Friedel Berlipp, aka Berry Lipman, died on August 21, 2016, aged 95.

A successful German composer and arranger and  - above all - a good friend left.

During many years he provided us with a string of exquisite Party albums, each bearing enticing Latin passions and an intoxicating Disco flair. He looked back proudly upon more than 5000 recordings, many of them were hits like "Keep on Smiling", "The Girls from Paramaribo” or "Let’s Dance Together”. Amongst many others he produced artists like Petula Clark, Pat Boone, Billy Vaughn, Charles Aznavour and Zarah Leander. With his "Berry Lipman Orchestra" he created many instant-classics in a a unique sound.

The "Star Maidens" and the "Girls from Paramaribo" are in mourning today.

Rest in peace, Berry.
