Unter dem Markenzeichen „Mondo Morricone“ erschienen in den Neunziger Jahren, von Cinesoundz produziert, sehr erfolgreiche und - was die 60er- und 70er-Jahre Pop-Arrangements des Filmmusik-Maestros betrifft - wohl die besten Ennio Morricone Compilations überhaupt.
Weshalb diese bisher nie auf Vinyl veröffentlicht wurden, wird wohl für immer ein Geheimnis bleiben.
Zeitgleich mit der Veröffentlichung einer neuen, dritten Folge der Mondo Morricone Reihe auf CD („Molto Mondo Morricone“, auf Royal Earforce) präsentiert All Score Media nun die Highlights aller drei Compilations erstmals als Vinyl-Edition.

Die Musik aus Filmen wie „Love Circle“, „Dirty Angels“, „Maddalena“ oder „Violent City“ enthält überwiegend sanft-schwebende und von Edda Dell’Orsos ätherischem Sopran-Gesang veredelte Melodien in bestechenden Arrangements, eingespielt von solch erstklassigen Künstlern wie Alessandro Alessandroni, Oscar Valdambrini und Arnaldo Graziosi.

Die Tracks wurden komplett remastered und erscheinen als „Collector’s Edition“ in 180 g Vinyl gepresst. Die Linernotes entstammen jeweils den Federn legendärer Filmmusik-Experten.
